My Interesting Weekend by Julie

Julie: My weekend started off quite nicely.
I was out on the porch enjoying Critter TV.
Mum comes along and I was KIDNAPPED!!

Look where I ended up!
I was not amused.
The Vet is way to close to us.
Mum can walk there in less than 10 minutes!
The good thing was that it was just my semi-annual checkup.
The even better thing is that I passed!
Well, almost. The Vet told me I should lose a little weight.
Mum listened to her and now I'm gonna starve!

Julie, you will not starve.

Anyhow, after we came home I went back to my porch.
I could hear critters, like squirrels or mice.

I was sitting very quietly hoping something
would pop out for me to catch.

Then, JJ decides to come out to the porch!
Sheesh!!!
Oh well, that's the kind of weekend it has been.
I may as well sit in the window and have a snooze.

Oh noes, Julie! Didn't you tell that vet that you've simply still got your winter coat, which makes you fluffier?

What a start to your weekend! Yippee for passing your exam! Maybe your Mom will forget about the weight comment. We can only hope, right?

You don't need to lose weight. Glad your appointment was just for a check up.

What an insult, Julie! Here, Elliott could use a few more ounces--maybe you two could work something out!

Oh no, not the vet! But I'm glad the check-up went well. Don't worry, your mum won't let you starve, Julie :-)
