Happy Gotcha Day, Little Isis

Hi Everyone,
Today is bittersweet for me, see it's my Gotcha Day, which is fun because I get extra Blue Bag Only treats.  But it's also sad, because my iDaddy is going back to the UK today for his final year of school.  He probably won't be coming home for Christmas break this year, which makes us all doubly sad because we will all miss him so much.  We'll be counting down the days 'til he can come HOME to us again!
That's a lot of days without SMACKIES!  Here is my iDaddy giving me SMACKIES:


Yes, I love SMACKIES so much!  And my Daddy NTM just doesn't know how to give 'em right, only my iDaddy gives 'em to me the way I like 'em!

What's Your Favorite Treat?

As a rule, I will only eat Friskies Party Mix Beachside Crunch treats - it comes in a blue bag and we call it Blue Bag Only.  However, my Daddies tried to trick me recently and slipped some new Party Mix Morning Munch Crunch into my mix.  I ate it! So they gave me some of just the Morning Munch Crunch by itself, and I ate it!  Don't get me wrong, I still insist upon Blue Bag Only as my main fix.  But if Friskies wanted to send me a case of Morning Munch Crunch once in a while, I wouldn't say no.  A girl's gotta mix it up once in a while, am I right?

Beau & Dallas

These are my foster brothers, Beau and Dallas.  They are my new adopted brother PJ's litter mates, and when my Daddies adopted that little monster PJ into our family, they agreed to foster Beau and Dallas 'til they got adopted.
Guess what? They're still here!
They are handsome guys, but they are black cats.  Why is it that black cats get adopted last?  This past weekend, the rescue group that my Daddies foster kittens with had EIGHT adoptions!  On Black Cat Appreciation Day - and NONE of those eight were black cats.  This made us all sad, especially me, who was really hoping for a good Forever Home for one or both of these dudes.
For every calico and fluffy ginger kitten who gets adopted, we try to be happy, but we really hate it when good, loving, full-of-purrs black cats like Beau and Dallas get overlooked on adoption days.
I know there are many superstitions surrounding black cats, but when are people going to move past silly superstitions and see cats for who they really are - just loving, loyal cats like the rest of us!
If you know of anyone who would be interested in adopting Beau and Dallas, please let us know.  They're located in Orlando, but we could work with an adoptive family to help with transport.
Thanks for letting me rant on a while.  I think it's time for a nap.

Check Out The Re-Vamped Cat Blogosphere

If you haven't checked it out yet, why don't you pop on over to the newly re-vamped Cat Blogosphere site?  Our own House Panther Little Isis is the new Lead Reporter there.
There's been some great feedback there so far, as well as some not so impressed visitors, so let us know what you think.
