Views from My Kitchen Window

Julie: I like to sit and look out this kitchen window.
There are often many neat things to see in the yard.

Let's see who is out there.
Oh! A woodpecker looking for food.

This is cool. The bird is on the railing just outside the
window!

She is looking hard for something to eat.
I hope she does not make holes in the wood.
Mom would not like that.

She is pausing to say Hi!
Hi woodpecker!

Hmmmmm, no luck here.

The woodpecker moved to another spot  and seems to have
found something!

Yup, she did!! Foods!

She is so happy she is hopping along the railing!
Finding food would make me happy too . Heehee

Julie, what a great conversation you had with that pretty woodpecker. WE agree ... finding food is reason to be excited. :)

We would love to see a woodpecker sitting on the fence round our garden but it's not likely here.
