Clean

I didn't feel well last Monday. While mom was taking her shower to get ready for work, breakfast came up and went all over the rugs she has in the living room. I was so embarrassed, I ran and hid. Mom doesn't seem to mind cleaning up after us, though. She says being sick is part of being alive and it will pass. She was right but I didn't want to eat all day after that. She even came home at noon to check on me and I only ate one of the treats she offered. By evening, I felt better and spending a couple hours in mom's lap when she got home made the icky feeling go away.

Still, it felt bad that mom had to quick wash the rugs ahead of the pants she needed to wear to work. The benefit is clean rugs. I like clean rugs.

Mom was outside shoveling the walk. She leaves the front door open so we can look out and see her. So, I made a nice nest to sit in while I waited for her to be done. I like to attack the rug, chase it around the floor. Mom just scratches her head. "What is it about clean rugs that you guys love?" she asks.

I dunno.

I'm glad she doesn't get mad at me when I have an upset tummy and I really like clean rugs. Do you?

See you next week.

I'm so sorry you weren't feeling well, Pilchard. Of course your human doesn't get mad when you are sick - you can't help it, right?

The best thing about clean rugs is putting your stink and furs on them :) Also, they feel all fluffed up and cozy!!
We are glad you are feeling better:)

Dad is very understanding about us doing the self-clean out too. You should have seen Miss Fitz letting go from the tippy top of the cat tree. Really Sumptin!
Glad you feel better Pritchard!
