Midnight Monday with Tillie and Julie

Julie:  It has been cool and foggy all weekend..
I am trying to decide if I want to go out on the porch.
It feels cold and it's rainy, so I will stay inside.
Maybe a nap is  in order.

Saturday night,Mom and family members went to see a
parade called "The Parade of Lights"
There were a lot of floats and lights! The parade was
held at night and lots of people went to see it.
We stayed home where it was warm.

Oh look, a cat in a hat!

At the end of the parade, everyone, especially the kids, were
excited to see Santa Claus!!!

Tillie: I am in the kitchen  checking this windowsill to make
sure there are no treats that I may have missed.
I eat my meals here and sometimes I drop a crunchie.

Here, I am looking up to the top of the fridge.
It is often fun to sit up there and watch Mom.

I can watch Bird and Squirrel TV as Mom puts seeds  and
cracked corn out for them. It is raining and windy so they will
like the food

There are a few more parade pics  at our home blog.
Pop over to see.

That parade looks like fun! We think if it's raining out - the best idea is to curl up and have a snooze. Happy Monday!

A Christmas parade already? Time is really flying.

It's been quite a day in Chicagoland, too. I spent a lot of it in Mom's lap or huddled on her bed. The wind and rain and lightning and thunder are scary. It's nice to be inside where it's warm and we get crunchies.

Humans can be very strange for always wanting to go out and do things when a nap is in order.

We agree that inside, warm and cozy is the best choice of all. :)
