Julie's Thoughts on a Cold Day

Julie: This past weekend  it was rainy,
and on Sunday it was very windy  cold.

I asked Mom to turn up the furnace.
My brother Treasure agreed. It was pretty cool in the house.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
This feels SO much better!
I love being toasty warm.

My human loves being warm too - I never have to ask her to turn on the heater!

You are a very smart girl, Julie! The heat vent is the BEST, isn't it?

Yep, purrfect heating vet placement!

That should have read "vent". MOL!

We pair off at heater vents or tuck ourselves into the cat tree between the refrigerator and a furnace vent. If nothing else, we head for the wool afghan! Our human keeps it way too cold in here!

Chucky lives by the heater vent in the hallway; we've placed a folded towel there, so he's not on the hard floor. We also plug in a heated bed in the front window, but Angel hasn't been using it like she did last year; don't know why.

That's my favorite spot to sleep when it's cold, too, Julie. ~Ernie

Yeah, my mom is that way about practically having ice hanging off our haunches. I have to lay on the vents sucking heat!

Awww, only the BEST spot to be in the entire house, and you found it! Purrs....

Mom tried to turn the temperature down a degree and she was surprised at how chilly the house got. Back up went the heat. We like it a bit on the warm side since the sun doesn't feel like breaking through the clouds around here.
