So, my winter coat is coming in. Mom says I'm getting really fluffy. The heat is on in our house. Mom also said something about a "frost", whatever that means, coming this week. I do know it means that she brings in some of her plants off the deck. She was doing that after work on Monday. My sister and I decided the air outside smelled so good that, because mom had the back door open, we'd go outside for a bit while she brought these flowers inside. She was removing the dead leaves so I walked right by her. The next thing I know, she's tapped the door closed while she takes the plant to the back room.

Needless to say, I was not amused. Mom let me back in after giggling and taking my picture. Then, she did the same thing to my sister. She can be distracted some times.

But I forgive her mainly because this is our Sunday afternoons.

Mom crochets and I get her lap. I just have to put up with her current scarf project draped all over me. It's warm, however, and we can spend a couple hours in blissful nap.

See you next week.

Frost? Since it is still in the 70s here, I keep forgetting that the rest of the country is having actual seasons!

Oh yeah... we've had the frost here, for sure. No snow yet. Thank goodness for that! Yes, thank goodness for that.

Pilchard, we think it is a fair tradeoff as a cozy warm scarf draped over you would be warm :)
As for your Mom keeping you outside for a photo op, well, sheesh! Humans do mighty strange things .Our Mom is just as bad :/

Hmmm, seems a common human trait. Dad is so easily distracted, much to my- and mom's- distaste. Stay warm, and enjoy your weekend.
