Beau & Dallas
These are my foster brothers, Beau and Dallas. They are my new adopted brother PJ's litter mates, and when my Daddies adopted that little monster PJ into our family, they agreed to foster Beau and Dallas 'til they got adopted.
Guess what? They're still here!
They are handsome guys, but they are black cats. Why is it that black cats get adopted last? This past weekend, the rescue group that my Daddies foster kittens with had EIGHT adoptions! On Black Cat Appreciation Day - and NONE of those eight were black cats. This made us all sad, especially me, who was really hoping for a good Forever Home for one or both of these dudes.
For every calico and fluffy ginger kitten who gets adopted, we try to be happy, but we really hate it when good, loving, full-of-purrs black cats like Beau and Dallas get overlooked on adoption days.
I know there are many superstitions surrounding black cats, but when are people going to move past silly superstitions and see cats for who they really are - just loving, loyal cats like the rest of us!
If you know of anyone who would be interested in adopting Beau and Dallas, please let us know. They're located in Orlando, but we could work with an adoptive family to help with transport.
Thanks for letting me rant on a while. I think it's time for a nap.
Meow for now,
Little Isis

They are such cuties! It is so not right that they have not been adopted yet.
We are purring very hard in the hope that these cute kitties will get a home. Black is beautiful :)

These two kittens are very cute, who could resist them, and yet still looking for a forever home. Hope they find one soon.

Can you move to the UK as we love our "lucky" black cats here. We think you are entitled to rant Isis - we wish we could help.

Beau and Dallas are adorable! We love black cats and it breaks our hearts to see them passed over for adoption. We hope the do find their forever home soon!
They look like little angels!
We think you should rant more about this unfairness. Adorable Beau and Dallas. We're sending kisses and hoping a forever family is right around the corner! Purrs...
They are BEAUTIFUL! We are purring and praying for a forever home real soon.
bLACK cats are as good as any other cat. In fact it is quite good to have a black cat if you live in a place like I do (Australia)as they are less likely to get cancers from the sun. Their fur gets hot and so they lie in the shade and the sun cannot get to them.
We agree! It's not RIGHT!! Purrs for your 2 fosters - that they get adopted SOON!
My goodness peeps can be so silly. Purrs that these two little kyooties get forever homes real soon.
Yay for black cats
Timmy
