Midnight Monday with Tillie and Julie

Julie:  I am up on top of the bookcase.
It is safe up here and I have a good view of the living room.

I need a good view because I need to keep a lookout for Tillie.
We had a couple of confrontations this weekend.
We only got close and stared and yeowled.
Mom did not like that and used the squirty bottle,
mostly on Tillie. Heehee!
Oh look, I see her now!

Tillie: I feel like I am being watched. I bet it is that Julie!
I am not ready to like her yet. I want to chase her away, but that
only gets me squirted with the water bottle!

She is around here and I will keep my eyes out for her.
I'm just not ready to be friends yet. Sorry Mom.

Mom: That's OK Tillie. I love you both and I am willing to wait.
Julie is here to stay and so are you.

Julie seems like a nice kitty to me, Tillie - I hope you learn to like her!

Gosh, sometimes it's hard to all get along. Good thing your Mom is patient!

We know the drill. It is so hard to get accustomed to a new housemate. And we don't like the squirty bottle either. Mauricio is the one who usually gets squirted 'cause he is such a jealous boy. Sometimes just keeping your distance is the best plan. We think all black kitties should love each other! Come on girls, you are only taking up your own nap time with this.

Sometimes its just sooo hard to deal with personalities...don't worry you'll be back to your old self again, especially with such a patient Mummy!

Pops no longer uses the squirty bottle. He only has to pick it up and Rumpy makes himself scarce. Couldn't happen to a better cat. Meow!
