Thursday is Grrsday

A message from the Lady: See how cuddly-looking Grr is? Well, she only goes to Kelly (the Formerly Blonde Girl) for loving. I've always wanted a lapful of Grr, so recently we've tricked her. When Grr gets into her "I want loving" mood, she turns on her big, rumbling purr and climbs up on Kelly's lap. Well, then I sit right next to Kelly and we carefully transfer Grr onto my lap. When Grr is in her purry mode, her eyes are half closed and she just wants to be petted and cuddled, which I'm happy to do. This lasts for several minutes till Grr's eyes suddenly focus and she realizes who she's sitting on. With a look of shock, she takes off. But, I've had several wonderful Grr cuddles. 17 pounds of solid purring softness - it's lovely!

That's a bit sneaky alright! But a purring cat is a purring cat. One of these days Grr will look up and not run away!

You can't fool her for long and only if she wants to be fooled ! Heehee

Bet she was enjoying it, but she has appearances to keep up.

Maybe Grrr will expand her horizons. It worked with a dog of mine and now he's a two-person puppy.

We don't like being tricked....but sometimes we make an exception for a nice warm lap!

That's nice while it lasts. Wow, 17 lbs. is a big cat--he looks fluffy too! How nice that you had at least a little cuddle time with him. Nice of Kelly to share him with you.
