Down Under Sunday

Hi house panthers!  It's time for another Down Under Sunday with Huffle Mawson!  Today I'm going to talk about things to do in Melbourne when it's really cold.  Although we're now in Spring and the weather is getting better, you still have to think of things to do for those cold days.

You probably didn't know that Victoria has plenty of ski resorts.  Well, not plenty, but a few!  My mum used to be a tour guide for a ski company and she used to go skiing every weekend each winter.  She doesn't do that now - she says she's too old (I think 269 is very old anyway) and her knee can't take the skiing any more.  Whatever.

But anyway, here is a picture of Mt Hotham, which is one of the best ski places in Victoria.

On the way to Mt Hotham, there is a very nice town called Bright which has lots of pretty trees that change colour in the Autumn (Fall).  It's also a nice place to visit in Summer when it gets too hot in the city.
Anyway that's the Down Under Sunday report for this week, let me know if there's something particular about Melbourne you are interested in!

Thanks for the down under report, Huffle! We think it's interesting that it is spring down under but here where we live, fall is just beginning...

Huffle, have you ever seen kangaroos around where you live? We think kangaroos must be like vishur deer...

We have a Melbourne in Florida. It not have a mountain. After Hurricane Fay, it end up underwater. I hear one of my Bean's friend say he and his mate just buy one of those "new underwater homes" in Melbourne. They probably have seafood for dinner every day. :>
