Down Under Sunday!

Today I thought I'd show you a bit of our city.  I live in Melbourne, which I showed you last time.  Here is a view of the city from across the bay:This is the view at night from Mount Dandenong, which is the closest big hill to Melbourne:
And this is the main train station in Melbourne, Flinders St Station.  It's a very nice building and there is a big ballroom somewhere in there which never gets used.
So what about the weather in Melbourne? Right now it's winter (June to August).  We have temperatures between 12 deg C (53F) during the day, and sometimes down to 0 deg C (32F) at night.  In the summer (December to February) it gets really hot.  Last summer we had so many days that were about 35 - 40 deg C (95 - 104F) and it doesn't really cool down at night.

Your view across the bay reminds me of Halifax harbour :)
The ballroom in the train station would be a great place to gather some friends and run around!!! heehee

Huffle, thanks for sharing lovely sites from your city.
I think I must remember to visit during our summer (your winter) because I don't like HOT!
I'd love to see the unused ballroom in the lovely train station.
Thanks for doing Down Under Sundays for us House Panthers!

We don't do hot! We stay in the nice AC during the hot days here in the Deep South, GA! Your city looks lovely, Huffle!

Those are lovely photos of your city Huffle. Our winter temperatures are about the same as yours, but our summer temperatures rarely go above 80.
