House Panther hunting

I got to let my true House Panther spirit out the other day when a large moth slipped into the house. With just a moment's notice, I pounced, caught the moth in my paws and my mouth, then ran through the house with sisters in tow with the moth fluttering in my mouth.

Here I am capturing the moth between my paws and studying my prey.

This might not be the best shot because everything was so frantic, but you can clearly make out the moth in my mouth. His wings tickled my lips. It was such a thrill. Dad eventually freed the moth, but what a rush!

Good one Mr Hendrix! That fluttery feathery motion, so delicate to hold and the flesh so squishy with the crunch of wings. The trick is to run away from your human and bend your head away so they can't see what you are doing until it is too late. Miaouw! Miaouw! Miaouw!
Just as well I can use my paws to blog, as Lynettea wouldn't let me put this on.

Great job! Moths are lotsa fun because sometimes you have to jump up to catch them.
If you can eat it before your daddy frees it next time, they are awfully good to eat. Well until the mommy find the bits you bomit up on the rug....still, that is fun too!
