Now that it's cold and I can't go out as much,my favorite place is on the couch with my daddy.He gives me lots of scritches and lets me sleep whichever way I want to,no matter how uncomfortable it makes him.That's why he's the bestest daddy ever.Here he is watching a very serious thing called a 'cricket match',whatever that is.All I know is,they don't look anything like the crickets I catch in our garden.I am a bit irritated,because mommy kept using the flashy box,when all I want to do is curl up on my daddy's lap.Humans,can't live with 'em,can't live without 'em!

Pixie the Panther

Hi peoples! I'm Pixie from The Kitty Krew and since I'm a sleek black panther kitty, that means I'm a House Panther! So the nice folks here said I could come join in on the fun.

I'm a little more than 2 1/2 years old, I'll be 3 on November 1. We don't really know my exact birth day, but when The Mommy gotcha'd me on December 17, 2006, she was told I was a few weeks old so she settled on November 1 as an easy-to-keep-up-with birth date. Of course, she was also told I was a GIRL and she didn't even check before she named me Pixie, and I'm so not a girl, I'm a mancat! But I'm still stuck with the name 'cuz I was already responding to it before she figgered out her mistake. Silly Mommy! (The Mommy: I'm sorry, Pixie, but you are a little imp so Pixie still fits...)

I live with 4 other kitties: Bugsy, Sassy and Callie, who are littermates and will be 6 in October, and Roxy, who is a half-sibling to them and will be 4 in September. So I'm da baby of the family. And of course there's The Mommy, who takes care of us all!

Well, that's a quick intro for me. I look forward to hanging out with the House Panthers, it'll be fun to see some cool cats besides my brother and sister all the time! And before I go, here's a cute picture of moi. We have this thing called a shelf unit, and The Mommy was smart enough not only to not put any breakable things on it, but to even put towels on a couple of shelves so that we kitties could nap comfortably...well, comfortably when she isn't sticking the flash box thingy in our faces. *sigh* That's my death look I'm giving her for disturbing me!

A new creature has appeared on the (formerly) Blonde Girl's bed. She calls her "Flat Grr".

So, now that there's a Flat Grr, guess what they call me? Fat Grr. Yup. Not very pleased. Not pleased at all.
(Flat Grr is a round pillow with a tail that we found at Ikea. ~ the Lady)

Yay! Cleo is HOME!

House Panther Maya's Bestest Friend Cleo went missing last weekend. Today, Maya's Mommy Penny writes "Everybuddy!You guys must've purred very hard, because they found Cleo, safe and sound. Someone had picked her up in the street, thinking she was homeless, and took her home. But when her mommy started asking around the neighborhood, the people brought her back.
You guys are the best!Thank so much for all your purrs!"
Yay! We're so happy that Cleo is home safe and sound, and hope lots more pictures of Maya and Cleo playing together are coming! We ♥ ya, Cleo!

Maya on Monday:Sadness

Hi everybuddy.I am really sad today.My bestest friend,Cleo,disappeared Friday night,and no one knows where she is.My mommy says she thinks that someone stole her,because Cleo is too small to run away on her own.

My mommy,daddy and I miss Cleo lots and lots,and hope that she is safe and happy where she is now.I didn't tell mommy,but I'm still hoping Cleo comes back.I'm going to wait on our couch to see if she comes back.
