Thursday is Grrsday

Grr: Till now, I've NEVER voluntarily gotten into the lap of anyone but my (formerly) Blonde Girl, but I saw her vacation pictures and she was ::shudder:: PETTING ANOTHER CAT! So, yesterday, in full view of my (formerly) Blonde Girl, I climbed into the lap of the Allergic Girl and allowed her to pet me for a short time. Ha! Please note that this action was for REVENGE ONLY, and was not a sign that I'm starting to actually like the other humans.

Floofy Friday

Hi - I'm Meep. Last week my 'dopted brother Bear posted for Floofy Friday, so today it's my turn.

I love bein' a House Panther. It drives me nuts when my mom calls me her "Little Kid" - I mean, look at how fur-ocious I am. (If you biggify the pic, you'll see I hardly have any teeth - but I've got one fang, and I know how to use it!)

I know I am not as floofy as Meep or Grr and some other cats,

but I do have some floof ! It's all that fuzzy stuff under my shiney furs !

Thursday is Grrsday

It's me...Grr. The Lady got us 2 hammocks from Forty Paws, but I don't really like to share, so I try to claim both of them.

My (formerly) Blonde Girl has been gone for almost 3 weeks. ::sigh:: I miss her.

WHAT? TOMORROW? SHE'S COMING HOME TOMORROW?

Tell me...what do you think I should do? Throw my furry purry self into her lap for endless cuddles? Or ignore her to teach her a lesson for leaving me so long?

Naughty Noodle Schemes Again!

Okay, enough is enough! I want him out that door now! (That's a song my Momma remembers from when she was a little girl.) I am singing that song now about Kittenzilla. (Toeshee) So far he has not touched me. He jumps on Cody and Billie, but when I growl he knows I mean business! I say, "Listen little man, if you as so much as lay a paw on me, I will end you!" He makes a pathetic (fake) scared noise and backs off.

Momma says my growl is not a noise you want to hear in the dark of the night. I take that as a compliment!

I come out of Momma's bedroom more often now because I refuse to let Kittenzilla deprive the rest of the family of my beauty. I also grant Momma and The Big Man Who Plays With Me Sometimes, the opportunity to pet my silky ,shiny fur. Today I even slept on Momma's tummy for awhile when she went to rest upstairs. Hey, I took pity on her and she does bring me Nom Noms three times a day!

I did express my displeasure last night with a good vengance pee. It took a lot of paper towels and stink remover to get rid of it! Mind, you I don't think my pee stinks, but you know how beans are! sigh...

My nickname is Naughty Noodle and I have to work hard to keep my naughty "rep" going. hee hee!

Well, that's enough of my musings for now. I have deeds and vengance to plot and I must find a good bbq recipe while Kittenzilla is still young and tender. Oops! I forgot Momma reads this! Curses!

I still say naughtiness is the only way to go. Later Panthers!

In Spooker's Own WordsBlue Wednesday

Last week during Doodle Week, I was portrayed as Evil Spooker, bound and determined to destroy Little Isis.
Let me just say that this was a slight exaggeration.  For many years, I was the only kitty with Not The Mama, and the Glorious Center Of The Universe.  Then the interlopers Daphne & Chloe came into my life and shattered my Only Kittiness.  And now I also have to deal with having the tiny ebony pestilence that is Little Isis in my home, stealing away Not The Mama time.  To make matters worse, Little Isis loves to stalk me. 

So, who can blame me for having a week of daydreams where I am the one to stalk her?

Now, things are back to "normal" in the Purrchance To Dream home.... until the next time I go Evil, that is!

Not The Mama has found he likes to Doodle, and we already knew he liked to play with photos in Photoshop - today's picture of me is a combination of Doodling in Paint and Photoshopping!  What do you think of my new House Panthers portrait?

Hello fellow House Panthers!
I am Alex and thank you very much for letting me be apart of your group.


I am 5 years old and was born on May 28th.
I am all black and have green eyes. When I was born my mom couldn't care for me and my sister so we had to go to our beans house and they took care of us and fed us with bottles and etc...
We lived in tiny baskets for the first few weeks that they carried with us everywhere they went so we could eat at regular times and be cared for.
I was so small when I was born that I could fit in my Mom beans hand.
Now look at me! I am the biggest in my house!

Our beans read a lot and have many, many books. They read to us cats all the time too and so my job is to make sure the books are safe and protected from book predators. I usually take up my post in the afternoons on top of one of the bookshelves.

The one thing that humans do that I just can't stand for is closing all the blinds at night! What is with that? So I have cut out a little window in the binds so I can still see all the birdies early in the morning when the beans think the blinds are all closed. Well this does annoy my Mom bean a lot and she keeps buying new blinds and it is exhausting work but I make sure they all have little windows so us felines can see out of them.
Humans just don't understand this.

This is my niece Wikipedia her and my nephew Zander and I have our own new cat blog over at The Catmosphere.

Down Under Sunday!

Hi House Panthers!
I'm starting a new feature this week, which I will post every second Sunday. It's called Down Under Sunday and it's the chance for me to tell you a bit about the part of the world I live in.
Firstly, I live in Melbourne, Australia. Here's a map to show you where it is:

The weather in Melbourne is the opposite of whatever is in the northern hemisphere. Right now it's the middle of winter and very cold! I have to stay inside and keep my paws warm.

Our Little Isis Doodle Week story so far...
Spooker became evil after being infested with a Flea Circus and then finding an alien's Shrink Ray Gun from outer space, so she shrinkified Little Isis, who went on vacation to Dollywood and met Nancy The Spider. Mr. Whiskers came looking for Nancy, and after they said their good-byes to Little Isis, our shrunken heroine decided it was time to return back to her normal size...

Floofy Friday

Hello efurrybuddy - I'm Bear. This is my first ever post on House Panthers and I'm really excited to be here! Me n' my floofy brother Meep are gonna take turns writin' posts & maybe sometimes we can post together.

I like bein' floofy. And at 20 pounds, I'm sure that a lot of those pounds must be floof, right? Even tho I'm a big guy, I'm pretty gentle. I love to be petted, and you can pet me almost anywhere, even my tummy. Just please don't touch my paws, front or back - I don't really like that so much. Oh, and if you pet me all the way to where my tail starts, I'll throw my head back as far as I can and start stickin' my tongue in and out until you stop. Nobuddy knows why I do this, but since he's seen me do it , now all of a sudden Meep's startin' doin' it too ... I guess that must make him a "copy cat"!
